What’s new
Administrators can configure a top-level workflow option on individual Non-Employee Risk Management workflows.
When enabled, that workflow will not send failure / error email notifications for failures on that workflow. Failure events, logging, and non-email behavior (for example Workflow Tracing) stay as they are today; only failure emails are suppressed for the configured workflow.
This option is visible under a Workflow (when creating or editing) under the Info tab
Why it matters: Some workflow designs can produce very large numbers of failure notifications when a run fails, which can spam administrators of the tenant and hurt overall notification delivery and user experience.
Who’s affected
- Applies to:
- Non-Employee Risk Management administrators - when this option is enabled on a workflow, they will not receive emails relating to failures of that specific workflow.
- Non-Employee Risk Management Workflow administrators and implementers will be responsible for enabling this option on specific workflows
