We are currently leveraging custom objects in IdentityIQ to fulfill specific business use cases. As part of our transition to the Identity Security Cloud, we would like to understand whether these custom objects can be migrated to Cloud or not. If not supported, we are seeking guidance on alternative approaches to replicate or redesign these custom functionalities within the Identity Security Cloud framework.
Directly migrating custom objects from IdentityIQ to ISC is not supported. The migration from IIQ to ISC is anything but lift-and-shift. This is because, in IIQ, a custom object stores key-value pairs, configuration data, or reusable logic. ISC does not support the same object model.
