Connector Rule No Longer Logging

Hi everyone,

I noticed yesterday that the connector rules that I’ve attached to a web services source are no longer logging. I have quite a few log.debug statements throughout the rule, but they no longer output to the ccg.log file.

I’ve confirmed that the cluster has debugging enabled, and I’ve even restarted the cluster. The CCG version is 1017.

Has anyone else noticed this recently?

Thanks

It looks like log.error still works. I tend to reserve that for actual errors so that the enable debug actually means something, but at least I’m getting output in the ccg.log again.

I’d still love any insight into whether this is an intentional change, a bug, or a fluke of these specific VAs.

Thanks

@MattUribe can you confirm that the lo42j property file in ccg folder has the inputs for webservice connector and its set to debug? If not you can change that and restart the ccg service and check if you get logs

log.debug statements never get output to ccg.log unless you specifically add the connector to the log4j.properties as mentioned here: https://community.sailpoint.com/t5/IdentityNow-Articles/Enabling-Connector-Logging-in-IdentityNow/ta-p/188107?_ga=2.192633134.549720369.1677512159-1413086531.1675185796&_gl=1*ew0ox7*_ga*MTQxMzA4NjUzMS4xNjc1MTg1Nzk2*_ga_SS72Z4HXJM*MTY3Nzc2ODY4MS42MC4xLjE2Nzc3NzAwNjguNDguMC4w
