Is there any way to change the width of text box in SP forms, I have done columns=“8” in Section tag and I think OOTb it cannot go beyond 4. My requirement is I need box size just enough for a single digit insertion instead of full size text box.

in a form you can have maximum 4 columns:

you can evaluate to create a plugin
