@sauvee just wanted to mention this method of manually modifying accounts is awesome and it allowed me to successfully test an LCS transform without the requirement of the source owners to help me. I owe you a whiskey next time I see you!

What if this identity attribute is a custom Attribute that has no 1:1 mapping with any account attribute?

So where is this identity attribute getting its data from then? A transform or rule I would guess.
You can just test this out, either with the ‘preview’ option in the ID Profile or via the API endpoint:
Somehow, this message went under my radar. Great to read it helped speed up your development delivery! As I always say, you do have to be careful with assumptions in terms of data, because it can sometimes bite you in the ass.
