Change identity attribute via API

Hi all! Is there some way to modify some identity attribute via API? Directly or through the account of the authoritative source?

Hi Julian,

Only LCS can be directly modified through APIs. For all other attributes, it has to come from the mappings from Identity Profile.

If your Auth Source is Delimited File or NELM, you could use respective APIs to update the source attributes which is then would be mapped to Identity Attribute in Identity Profile.

The APIs to updates source attribute are as follows:-

  1. Delimited source:- put-account | SailPoint Developer Community
  2. NELM source:- update-non-employee-record | SailPoint Developer Community

For all other sources, the updated would have to come from the target system.
