Can we restrict the whole application itself from request center instead of access profiles associated to that particular application

Currently I am able to restrict the access profiles tagged to particular application using segments in the request center but when requester go to request center>application>the user is able to see the application but not access profiles inside the application.can we restrict the entire application from request center using segments

Applications cannot be hidden using segments.
