Job Description:

The Access Management – Systems Administrator III will be responsible for:

  • Performing systems management activities for current and future computer systems, related hardware, software, and networking components.
  • Evaluating current and projected demands for services and state-of-the-art computer software, and recommending modifications to current architectures, procedures, and configurations to maximize resource utilization. Designing and implementing customizations to the computer environment to meet the needs of the Children’s Hospital User Community.
  • Recommending software acquisitions to meet projected demands and conducting product evaluations and trials to improve the productivity of existing software.
  • Interacting with Application, Network, End User Support staff, vendors, and the End User Community to design and evaluate new computer system environments and associated applications.
  • Identifying end-user and application requirements as they relate to computer systems environments and developing and executing plans within project time frames.
  • Responding to computer system problems, resolving them in a timely manner while adhering to problem resolution and escalation procedures.
  • Maintaining computer system security by staying updated on all published security warnings, monitoring daily security audit trails for multiple systems, informing management of any breaches or vulnerabilities, and proposing solutions.
  • Providing consulting services and technical support to peers, operating staff, application staff, research computing, and end-user services.
  • Assisting in maintaining performance statistics and delivering performance tuning.
  • Identifying problem areas and developing disaster recovery and backup strategies.

To qualify, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required in the field of computer science or a closely related field.
  • 5 years of directly related experience is required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience administering Identity Management systems. SailPoint preferred.
  • Technical skills including, VS Code, Active Directory, AD/LDS, XML, TSQL, API and Service integration is preferred
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM) preferred
  • Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) preferred
  • Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems or design relatively complex systems and programs that cross department/divisional lines.
  • Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or well developed writing skills.
