Hello,

I’m currently facing an issue where IIQ is generating work items that request the same action, which is happening daily when identities are refreshed.

This is especially a problem for work items with the “ManualAction” type, which do have some impact because they generate notifications and expect some action from users.

As an example, we have these two work items that are requesting the same change:

Is it possible to configure IIQ to check whether the work item that is going to be created already exists?

Is this happening for all the request or its intermittent?

This is not the case for all requests, but it is happening in two situations:

  1. For requests targeting applications that do not have automatic provisioning enabled, it generates a work item to perform some action on the target application.
  2. To approve the change of an Identity Attribute. We have defined a Value Change Workflow that generates an approval work item every day until it is approved.
