After configuring Task servers using below link and making changes in ServiceDefinition object , all the tasks are getting redirected to only 1 server and even when it is stopped.

This is causing below error while starting the JBOSS Server:

06:11:05,504 INFO [io.smallrye.metrics] (MSC service thread 1-1) MicroProfile: Metrics activated
06:11:07,223 INFO [io.undertow.servlet] (ServerService Thread Pool – 77) No Spring WebApplicationInitializer types detected on classpath
06:11:20,027 INFO [stdout] (ServerService Thread Pool – 77) 2026-06-22T06:11:20,011 WARN ServerService Thread Pool – 77 sailpoint.api.TaskManager:418 - Terminating orphaned task result: Sequential Tasks for Employee Delta
06:15:49,434 ERROR [org.jboss.as.controller.management-operation] (Controller Boot Thread) WFLYCTL0348: Timeout after [300] seconds waiting for service container stability. Operation will roll back. Step that first updated the service container was ‘add’ at address ‘[
(“core-service” => “management”),
(“management-interface” => “http-interface”)
]’

Please suggest.

@mayamis1703eq Please share the link which you followed, service definition xml, and both server xmls to help you with troubleshooting.

@mayamis1703eq - Did you add both hosts in the Task ServiceDefinition? Can you check if it looks like below:

Can you share screenshot of the server added in the Task server defination

Hi @neel193 : Link is envisaged below:
https://community.sailpoint.com/t5/Technical-White-Papers/Background-Processing-in-IdentityIQ-The-TaskScheduler-and/ta-p/75879

Both the xmls are provided below:

Seems you defined both as GLobal Servers. Could you please try running any task hardcoding the hostname in the Host field of the task. Please run on one server at a time. May be a refresh task of 10 users without partitioning on specific hosts.

Still that goes to 1 server only. Thank you

@mayamis1703eq Even if you hardcoded Task2, it is going to Task1?

@mayamis1703eq

Check in the environment.

whether the toggle option might be off.

Thanks
