Add a Filter to the Get Operation

Hi,
is it somehow possible to have a filter in a Get operation to restrict the results by restricting to some attribute values?
This would help for all entities.
Is it somehow possible to restict the attributes that are in the response result? This would be very helpful because some identity attributes can be sensitive and should not be offered to every caller.
