Activate Certification Campaign Action Failure

Hi,

This started a month back and we raised both a community post and Support ticket with SailPoint. The bug was identified and resolved in a couple of weeks by the engineering team.

However, we now are witnessing the same behavior again. We have noticed a intermittent trend in our PROD environment, where the action Activate Certification step is erroring out with 400 status.

We attempted to activate the certification campaign from POSTMAN. However that is also throwing 400 error.

We believe both the workflow step and the API have been affected.

Is anyone else facing the same issue?

While trying with postman , have you verified if the campaign is in preview mode yet ?

yes, the campaign is in preview mode(staged).

Your most effective approach would be to engage actively with SailPoint Support, supplying them with all comprehensive diagnostic details. This will enable them to utilize their tools and internal access to thoroughly investigate service logs and pinpoint the regression’s root cause.

TIcket raised, just posted this to see if anyone else is facing the same issue.

On further investigation, it was found that the failing certification activations did not have due dates preconfigured.

So unlike the previous time this was not a bug. A certification campaign cannot be activated via workflow or API without a valid due date.
