Hello,

I’m currently updating how work items are processed regarding their escalation and expiration periods. I also changed the escalation rule so that the request can be sent to a Workgroup when escalated.

I am having some difficulties with this implementation as the escalation rule seems to never actually be executed, and the requests never escalated.

I can see in the work item configuration of requests I have tested that the time periods for reminders/escalation/expiration appear as expected and that the escalation rule is correctly defined. There are however two values that I can’t seem to find documentation on, escalation style and escalationSameLevelRule.

What do these keys define? Could their configuration be affecting the escalation process?

you should be able to find those variable in your approval workflow, example, I see it in Interactive Dynamic Request Approval.

@rm_sailpoint if you are using normal sailpoint Access request worklfow you will be able to get “workItemEscalationRule” this keyword. You can write the rule and pass it. if it is not there add in LCm provisioning workflow and send to Provisioning approval Subprocess.
If you are using Accelerator pack then they have Interactive Dynamic Request Approval.(check doc for accelerator pack most of the thing they handle on application rule or cusotm object)
If you are using Rapidsetup then may be name of the workflow diff, you can check the process and either you need to add in same key like lCM or they have cusomize with rule and library then add it there.
