What is the function of spt_provisioning_trasanction table in database, as this is consuming more memory, can we delete this table. How can it impact our sailpoint post deletion.

This table holds all the provisioning transaction details that triggers from SailPoint for all operations ( that you see under Administration Tab at Gear Icon)
Usually the table data is used for Auditing purpose in future if you need old data, you Can Archive or delete this tables older data considering your organizations Audit requirements
You can also prune older provisioning transactions by selecting the “Prune provisioning transactions” check-box with perform Maintenance Task and the age of the transactions you can provide in System Configuration .

Global Settings → Configure IdentityIQ Settings → Miscellaneous → Provisioning Transaction Log Settings → Days before provisioning transaction event deletion
