I just would like to discuss a few things about certification.
As you all know, we have certification, which can be used for reviewing the access periodically according to our organization requirements. So, in this one what we will talk about is what we can edit after certification is generated and activated.
First, we all know that we have 5 pages where we can configure the certification definition like below.
Certification definition configuration is done and generated. After generating certification and before activation of the certification. What things we can edit.
- Basic: We cannot edit anything here.
- Lifecycle: We can change or update a few things, like enable the challenge period, enable the revocation period, enter the active period rule, enter the end period rule, and enable automatic closing.
- Notification: We can change every option available in the section. So, change any option you feel to be updated before activation.
- Behavior: We cannot change anything here. So, once certification is generated, then you can’t edit any option available in this section.
- Advanced: We cannot change anything here. So, once certification is generated, then you can’t edit any option available in this section. If you want to change anything, then you have to delete the certification group and certification definition carefully and launch again with the required changes.
Once the certification is activated, send the certifications to the certifiers for the certification campaign. Then, you can’t do any changes in that campaign. So, that is the reason you have to launch the certification very carefully. and use the Staging option to check after generating certification.
