You’ll notice a few name changes around the community when it comes to some of our documentation, categories, tags, descriptions and more in the developer community: we are transitioning to the Identity Security Cloud!
So, what changed around here?
Developer Docs
You’ll notice a new documentation structure on developer.sailpoint.com for all of our developer docs. All of your old docs links and bookmarks will still work for now—but we recommend updating your bookmarks when you get a chance!
Community Categories & Tags
You will notice one of our primary categories, and subcategories, had a subtle name change, e.g.:
ISC Discussion and Questions
#identity-security-cloud:show-and-tell
Non-employee Risk Management (nerm) has also now become a tag nerm and NERM discussions will happen under the Identity Security Cloud category.
API Specifications (coming soon)
Changes to API specifications are coming soon—you won’t see any changes to your URLs here either but again, we recommend you update your bookmarks once they do! There won’t be any changes to critical infrastructure (e.g. query parameters), and for now the API url remains the same: sailpoint.api.identitynow.com.
Developer Tools (coming soon)
As we validate code changes for our developer tools in the coming months, you’ll see new versions arrive with name changes in descriptions and in-tool documentation, too.
As for tags, we’ve greatly improved our tagging structure and welcome any feedback or suggestions you may have. Checkout our community tags here:
