Virtual Appliance Inactive Status

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone experiencing VA Inactive status?

But sometimes we can still do test connection to sources and it was healthy? we can also do aggregation and provisioning. But every time the aggregation failed “Connection timeout”

we just tried to do the test connection again to revert back the healthy connection of sources. (this apply to sources)

We observed that the VA is keep on fluctuating (down, up, down) via sudo docker ps -a. Also in the stunt log there is failing.

This behavior is quite unusual. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

@Rpalos I am not sure why this is happening. May be you can create support ticket regarding this issue.

Hi shantha,

Thanks for the reply.

We have created a ticket for this issue, but the investigation is still ongoing.

thanks

Great if they know the cause you can share the info here.

Hi Rainiel,
I encountered a similar behaviour once before in a Network Tunnel VA configuration with a very performance intensive aggregation from a HR source. We had to tune the MTU value in the canal service /client.conf and then restart the service.
Please confirm with sailpoint support before touching, especially if this is your prod instance, but in our case we added

tun-mtu 1400
pull-filter ignore "tun-mtu 1500"
mssfix
