Hi, I am trying to set up VA using Hyper-V as mentioned in documentation followed all the steps but when I tried to run sudo systemctl disable esx_dhcp_bump.service I am getting attached error
Failed to disable unit : Unit file dhcp service does not exist.
I also tried to run one command
sudo systemctl restart systemd-networkd
Still getting one error, User sailpoint is not allowed to execute /usr/bin/systemd as root on sailpoint VA.
Can anybody look on this why this is happening, I am creating it for my own hands-on, Is it really allowed to configure VA into my Local using HYper V.
Hi Gagan, as Amahle says the VA’s privellege levels are very restricted on the user accounts and so some commands will work with sudo and some commands aren’t able to. Could i ask for more information about the VA? is it for a production tenant, demo tenant or a sandbox tenant?
Hi All, I was not able to run these commands via Putty interface but when we had tried to run same commands by utilising Hyper-V connection, those commands ran successfully.
No, I am still getting few challenges while initialisation , I followed new approach for pairing key but code does not match and when I tried to check logs charon.log it says
{"@timestamp":"2024-09-18T07:05:12.961","level":"ERROR","type":"credential","message":"Config file not in place."}
{"@timestamp":"2024-09-18T07:05:42.967","level":"ERROR","type":"credential","message":"Config file not in place."}
Still trying to solve another challenge, not sure whether new set up still available to run on demo tenant or not, its still in progress I believe.
Thank you Suraj for sharing this link to troubleshoot my issue but Unfortunately its still showing code not found/Expired, I am not sure Either I missed something while configuration or new set up is unsupportable for Identity now-Demo tenant access as explained by @colin_mckibben in one of post.
