Using identity 'externalId' as an identity attribute

Hey everyone,

has anyone ever used the identity external ID/sysId as an identity attribute? how did you achieve this? I have a desire to push this ID to service now user record for workflow use and interconnectivity between the two systems, currently i have to pass something like email from sailpoint to look up the user in service now first to set things like caller.

I’ve thought about this and probably could achieve it with some sort of loopback connector but that seems like a lot of work for a single attribute - wondering if this is doable in a transform or will i really need a separate source to query IDN for this value.

Hi @ndanjou,

It would be recommended to set up the IDN SaaS Management Connector for the current requirements.
