User Records Preview Failure for JDBC Connector

We are integrating application using JDBC connector. When trying to preview user records we are getting error messages - ResultSet Type 1004 is not supported. We have checked the queries outside of SailPoint using SQL server client and able to get the results.

Please check the JDBC driver compatibility, refer connector guide and also try setting below in the application xml file:

<entry key="resultSetType" value="TYPE_FORWARD_ONLY"/>

The error occurs because the JDBC driver doesn’t support scrollable ResultSet (Type 1004) used by IIQ during preview. To fix this:

  1. Update the JDBC driver to the latest version.

  2. disable scrollable ResultSets or force TYPE_FORWARD_ONLY.

  3. Retry preview after saving changes and restarting IIQ.
