hi,

we want to use environment variables in some configuration fields of an application definition (and maybe in other configurations). is there a way to do this?

reason: we want supply different environments with configuration parameters from outside, via some docker startup properties (environment variables).

thx

Are you using the Services Standard Build?
If so, take a look at the section ‘Configuring target.properties files’ in the SSB Documentation

If you have extra question, please let us know.

PS I would thing the JDBC driver should be the same for all environments

Have you tried using %%env_variable_name%% in the xml file and creating a build?
Just a thought
PS: I am relatively new to IIQ
