Which IIQ version are you inquiring about?
8.5p2
Issue:
Dear colleagues,
for our internal tracking we recently sampled together a list of relevant ETNs related to the Role-Entitlement Associations (Bundle Profile Relations) feature.
Maybe you are also interested in case you want to utilize this (great) feature:
| ETN | Description | 8.4p2 | 8.4p3 | 8.5p2 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| IIQTC-514 | Performance Improvements BundleProfileRelation Service | Fixed | Fixed | Fixed |
| IIQSR-927 | Option to prevent refresh of all bundles during server startup | n/a | Fixed | New feature |
| IIQSR-928 | The BundleProfileRelation Service no longer creates overlapping work in clustered environments with more than one IdentityIQ instance. |
E-fix available | Fixed | Fixed |
| IIQSR-929 | The Refresh Role-Entitlement Associations task partitions no longer lock each other out, allowing the partitions to execute simultaneously. |
E-fix requested | Fixed | Fixed |
| IIQSR-930 | Duplicate BundleProfileRelations are no longer created by the synchronization service. |
E-fix available | Fixed | Fixed |
| IIQETN-12796 | Massive amount of BundleProfileRelationObject entries created unexpectedly (no relevant change on the Bundle-Profile-Relations for this Bundle) | n/a | n/a | n/a |
As of: 02.09.2026
For us the feature is (still) not usable as desired because of the issue tracked via IIQETN-12796. This leads to massive amounts of BundleProfileRelationObjects being created which the Service cannot process anymore in a timely manner.
Resulting from this the correlation model is not up to date anymore after a while (changes happening on the bundle profiles) and therefore not reliable/usable.
We are highly interested in other installation’s experiences and how you are dealing with the current situation.
As a fix for IIQETN-12796 was already requested a long time ago and still there is no e-fix available my assumption is that not many organizations are facing that issue (which solely occurs in multi-server environments).
We are looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards,
Daniel
