UI Source accounts page to link to the actual account instead of to the identity

Hi all!

Currently, when we go to the source in the UI and then click accounts, we see the list of accounts (correlated and uncorrelated). If we click such an account, one of two things occur:

  1. The account is uncorrelated and the link is unclickable. We can’t see the account data from the UI as admin for troubleshooting purposes like improving the correlation logic or check if the the account data has aggregated correctly, even though we have no corresponding identity yet for that account. Instead we have to export the accounts to a CSV, find the correct account and inspect the data through there.
  2. The account is correlated and the link is clickable. We click on it and we don’t see the account data. Instead we see the identity data and in order to see the actual account data we are interested in, we have to click on accounts once more, then find the correct account from a (big?) list and then click on that record.

I think it makes more sense if this gets changed, such that we can view the account data with fewer clicks, even when it is not correlated. Maybe there could be two links for correlated accounts, one for the identity page and one for the account data. Maybe clicking the account data link will only pop-up the account data for quick inspection, instead of getting navigated away from the sources page. Maybe the pop up even offers the ‘aggregate/disable/enable account’ functionalities from here as well (for admins).

Please let me know if this change would be helpful for you as well or not.

Kind regards,
Angelo
