Test connection issue

Hi All,

We have facing an issue with AD application. The issue is when I’m trying to check the test connection getting below error message. But we can able to run the aggregation successfully. Is is something related to the firewall?

[ TimeoutException ] [ Possible suggestions ] a) Ensure that IQService Port is not blocked. b) Ensure that the IP/domain is reachable from IdentityIQ Server [ Error details ] Connection timed out: connect

For aggregation you can remove iq service configuration as it is not required. If you remove it and test connection starts working then you have network issue in connection between IIQ and iqService. If it fails with the same issue then most probably network issue between IIQ hosta and AD. You can try to make telnet from IIQ hosts to the domain controllers on port 636 for secure and 389 for non secure connection.

Ok, then telnet to iqservice port to check network connection issue between iiq and iqservice. If it works then most probably you have firewall blocking connection between iqservice and dcs
