Hi Team;
In 8x version what is best practices for managing target system groups through SailPoint. Early i think we have professional service plugin but now it won’t available, So is there any common practices, specifically concentrating on the all the connector will support but user interface administrators need to know use to manage target system groups in the SailPoint platform.if you have any insights on this please suggested thanks.

Hey,

That old PS plugin isn’t really used in 8.x anymore. Most people just aggregate groups as entitlements and then manage them through roles so admins don’t deal with raw groups. For connectors that support it (like AD/LDAP) you can also enable group CRUD directly in the connector config. If it’s just about visibility, regular aggregation and showing them in the entitlement catalog is usually enough.

So no single best practice, but entitlements + roles is still the most common way.
