When I go to Manage User Access and search for a user, the name and manager name are displayed correctly, as seen in 1.jpg.

But when I click on the details icon, the special characters are displayed incorrectly (2.jpg).

The data is in an MSSQL DB, where the data is correct.

We are using JBOSS eap 7.4

Have you experienced a similar problem?

I am thinking this behavior could be related to a security fix in IdentityIQ 8.4 that escapes HTML entities in this dialogue- IIQFW-36. I recommend you open a ticket with IdentityIQ Support and include these screenshots and ask them about IIQFW-36 possibly being relevant. If it isn’t, then Support would still be able to help you resolve this unexpected escaping of extended characters in the details dialogue.

FYI I’ve opened a ticket and they are able to replicate the behaviour in IIQ 8.4 and forwarded the issue to the Engineer Team as bug.
