I believe that many organizations use slack most of the time, just like the one I work for. Carrying out system integrations that we are very used to in the daily lives of those who work in IAM department, can help many in the team’s administrative tasks.
I know that today there is an application for sailpoint slack where it is possible to request access.
I would like to show the application I developed to change the owner for an open request, which is currently not possible to do via the admin panel, so I had the idea of doing it via slack, using the API’s.
It is very common to have to make these owner changes, especially when the owner is on vacation, etc.
I hope it serves as an idea both for possible improvements in the sailpoint slack app, as well as for those who want to manually integrate it into their work environment.
