ServiceNow and SailPoint ISC integration

Hi team

We are looking to integrate ServiceNow and SailPoint’s Identity Security Cloud to manage access request from both the platforms.

What we need to achieve:

  1. To be able to manage access from ServiceNow side, which redirects the provisioning process to SailPoint.

  2. To be able to create tickets in ServiceNow when managing access from SailPoint side [for non-connected systems]

  3. To aggregate ServiceNow data [accounts and other entitlements] into SailPoint.

In order to achieve the above, I see the following SailPoint applications in the ServiceNow store.

Can anyone please help me in identifying what from the list above are required to be purchased, in order to achieve all that I said above?

Thanks in advance.

SailPoint for Service Desk and SailPoint Identity Security Cloud Service Catalog require additional paid licenses

SailPoint Identity Governance Connector is free

You would need all 3 to fulfill your use cases

Replies below, hope this helps

This would require Sailpoint Identity Security Cloud Service Catalog Integration

This would require Sailpoint for Service Desk Integration

Thank you so much for the replies @mcheek and @sk8er23. One last question - From the prerequisite page of SailPoint for Service Desk Integration, I see this line “Configure at least one virtual appliance cluster and successfully test the connection. For instructions, refer to the Virtual Appliance Reference Guide.” Do we need to have a VA configured even if both the platforms (SailPoint and ServiceNow) are on cloud?

No, there is a SaaS connector you can use

EDIT: I misunderstood the question thinking we were talking about the Governance connector, but the question was about the SDIM connector, which does require a VA

Thank you so much @mcheek, that helps!

Hi @mcheek, Please see below screenshot in Sailpoint when we do Admin > Connections > Service Desk and Create.

. Virtual Appliance Cluster is a mandatory field. What should I choose here?

Sorry, I misunderstood, I thought you were referring to the ServiceNow Governance Connector. Yes, it appears a VA is required for an SDIM connection

Thank you so much for all the responses, @mcheek !
