Service desk integration

I have a delimited file source say “XYZ”. its been integrated into ISC. I also have service desk integration in ISC and I configured such that when a request is requested for the XYZ, a ticket is created ( did this by adding catalog item). so far so good.

How do I create a ticket for the same xyz delimited source if the account is terminated based on liecyclestatus. does the ticket get created automatically? Looks like no, how do I cinfgure everythubg so that it creates a ticket ins ervicedesk when a user is terminated or lifecyclestatus = inactive long term .

Hi @rahulb635, as long as the source is configured in the Service Desk integration, it should create the tickets for any provisioning triggers. In this case, if the LCS is configured to disable an account on inactive state it should create a ticket.

This should already create a ticket using the same integration if the account is configured to be disabled/deleted with configuration on lifecycle state in identity profile.

If you have added the source in inactive lifecycle state and selected the option as disable then SailPoint will trigger a service now ticket if you have already added the source in service desk config under sources. In the ticket if you are not seeing the operation as terminate or disable you may have to update the description in Service Desk.

Please add the source in the Lifecyclestate of Inactive and save it.

Once done. Please try to change lifecycle state to Inactive and see if it generates the ticket in Service Desk.
