The note" The emailAddress attribute would only be fetched for accounts from domains belonging to the domain of the service account." seems to be incorrect . At least in my instance, it is not fetching a majority of the email address although all emails are using the same domain.

I spoke at length with our engineering department about this issue, and they are saying that the note is correct as its written. They are saying that your experience is not desired behavior, and could be a result of some settings in the source. Specifically, Profile Visibility. Atlassian’s documentation discusses it in this article: Update your profile and visibility settings
For further troubleshooting, please reach out to SailPoint Support to mention the issue and find out why a majority of your accounts are being fetched.
