I have complete setup of SAP HR connector with aggregation, write back etc and lately I have noticed some attributes changes done at SAP end does not reflect back to Sailpoint.
SAP has updated Employee subgroup (changed to 22) for a user a day back but after attempting single and optimized/unoptimized aggregation as well, this field is still having the old value (value is 10) in Sailpoint.
Does anyone have understanding on why is this behavior there in SailPoint?
Hi @varshini303, I had done optmized and unoptimized both aggregation but it didnot work. Next day after a simple single aggregation I could see the value updated. Not sure why there is a lag in reading data from SAP.
If the connector used is SAP HR/HCM, can you confirm what is the account attribute mapped to Employee subgroup?
Mostly it should be mapped to supported schema attribute Sub E Group.
Hi Bhusan, yes, it is mapped correctly, and the SAP attribute is E Group. I am able to aggregate the E Group value as well in Sailpoint but issue is for testing when we had SAP team update the value say from ‘1’ to ‘4’ in SAP and I run the single aggregation for SAP account in Sailpoint (In this case non optimized full aggregation as well I tried) but E Group is not updating to value 4, it still reads E Group as 1. SAP had this updated 2 days back.
