As you know, support for version 8.3 is ending in a few days, We are planning to upgrade our SailPoint IdentityIQ environment from version 8.3 to 8.4 and would appreciate guidance from those who have gone through this process.
Could you please help with the following:
What is the recommended upgrade approach for moving from 8.3 to 8.4?
Are there any prerequisites or compatibility checks that should be completed before starting the upgrade?
What are the key steps involved in the upgrade process?
Are there any known issues, challenges, or breaking changes to be aware of?
What post-upgrade validations or tasks are recommended to ensure everything is functioning correctly?
Any documentation, best practices, or lessons learned from your experience would be very helpful.
@krish22 Would recommend you move to 8.4p3 which is more stable as compare to 8.4. Any bug which has been identified or any improvements, you can see in the latest patch. If your team/leadership permits, you can also plan for 8.5p1 which is latest version and patch.
Upgrade path would be → 8.3 → 8.4 → 8.5 → 8.5p1. Fellow sailors already shared the documents above which you can refer. and let us know for any further queries.
