We have out-of-the-box functionality that allows us to require comments during entitlement access requests, but requesting roles does not currently mandate comments. How can we make it mandatory to provide comments when requesting roles and entitlements?

For roles and entitlements, you can make comments requested on an individual basis. Below is a screenshot of enabling this for a role, but the setup is similar for an entitlement also. Select the role/entitlement you want comments to be required for during access requests, navigate to the Access Requests settings, and check the boxes you prefer under the Require Comments section.
