Provisioning Error

Received this error during AWS provisioning using AWS Direct connector

sailpoint.connector.ConnectorException: Password should have at least one symbol (Service: AmazonIdentityManagement; Status Code: 400; Error Code: PasswordPolicyViolation; Request ID: 5ef2a010-12c5-484e-af38-3ba36f2a8a6a; Proxy: null)

This looks like an error message coming from AWS, not IDN. It says that the password you generated from IDN needs to have at least one symbol, probably due to a password policy in AWS for stronger passwords. Make sure that your password generator in IDN is providing at least one symbol, like *, #, $, etc.

Hey we are using Create Password policy which is I think came with Sailpoint itself. It was working fine for other users who accesed different roles on same source then it should have shown error for everyone right ? pls check out the image

I believe that generator option uses the default password policy that you configure in your tenant. Does your password policy specify a minimum number of special characters?

I have changed the default settings. Now the my request status already shows completed should I perform any task so that the role gets assigned in AWS ? or should i request again ?
The users account is created but the access key , password are not created and role is not assigned.
Please suggest the suitable way

You can either reset the password directly in AWS, or you can delete the account and provision it again.
