One of the following processes must now be used to reset a source. Configuration Hub Use the SailPoint Configuration Hub to create a backup of the source you want to reset. Delete the source. These options seem like a general step back in ease of use from the existing reset endpoint. Is there a reason that the reset endpoint isn’t being moved over to the beta (or v3) collections?

Based on the feedback we have received so far, we are working with engineering to possibly make a 1-1 equivalent in v3. I hope to have more information on this by the next API deprecation office hours.

Hi Arif. Please see this post for information on the replacement. The /api/source/reset endpoint has been extended to June.

POST /api/source/reset/

A replacement for /api/source/reset is expected to be released by the end of March, 2024. In order to allow users enough time to migrate off of the private API and onto the new public endpoints, SailPoint is allocating additional resources to ensure that /api/source/reset remains operational until June 14th, 2024.
