Password Change - dont force change on next logon

We are on IIQ 8.3

Similar to this post (76930), I’m looking for a way to NOT have password change required at next logon checked when a password change is performed by help desk personnel.

Even after reading that post and many others here and on Compass, I’m not figuring out how or where to make changes.

We don’t have any Identity Provisioning Policies setup.
In Lifecycle Manager, Manage Password is set to the default LCM Manage Passwords workflow – but in that workflow I don’t see anywhere to make pwdLastSet changes and no area for Before Provisioning Rule.

Can someone please try to clarify for me how to get this pwdlastset change implemented?

Thanks for any assistance!

Hi @chrisk,

you can manage it with a ChangePassword prov. policy form where you set the pwdLastSet attribute or you can use a before provisioning rule where you add to the plan the attribute for ChangePassword plans(or update depends on the workflow you use)

Thanks for the reply.

I’ve never done this before, do I just add a new policy here -

Then fill in the values like this -

Or, is there more to it than that?

I’m reading a bunch of docs on provisioning/workflows/policies/passwords - however I can’t find anything that really walks you detailed thru how to do things.

Really appreciate the help!
