Official access-request-administration API?

Addressed to @developer_advocates

We noticed the Approval Management page makes use of the Access Request Administration API which is not documented yet. (If it is and I missed it, apologies!)
e.g.
https://TENANT.api.identitynow.com/beta/access-request-administration?limit=1&offset=0&count=true&filters=accountActivityItemId%20in%20(REQUEST-ID)&sorters=-created

Are there plans to make this API official and document it?

NB: a search turned up this post as asking about it in April 2025.

For added context, we have a use case where we’d be interested to get, via API, the previous validation steps. For instance we could auto-validate step N if the validator is the same as step N-1 (first as Manager then as Owner, for instance).

Hello Christophe,

We’ve looked into this on our side and it looks like not including documentation in the beta was simply a miss.

You can find documentation for Access request status for administrators here.

I hope this answers your question! I will be out for the remainder of the year but if you have further questions, @LukeHagar can help you out.

Cheers,
Danielle

Thanks! That resolves this specific point.

It leads me to wonder: is there a way to easily find the documentation for a specific endpoint? As in, I’d search for “access-request-administration” and it’d list the relevant pages (across API versions if it exists for several versions). I wouldn’t have had to bother you if I’d have found on my own.
The local site search doesn’t find the page. Google does list it when searching for “sailpoint api access-request-administration”, but at around #4 or #5 in the results.

(Also, I kinda expected it to be a new header “Access Request Administration”, though I can see how keeping the number of headers down is important too, so it’s fine as-is.)
