Description
We are excited to announce that two new Non-Employee Request Management activity request widgets are now available for MySailPoint.
The new widgets allow admin users to quickly see the status of activity requests, alerting them to potential action they may need to take.
Problem
Customers did not have visibility into the status of Non-Employee requests from their Identity Security Cloud homepage. This contributed to the perception of a disjointed user experience between Non-Employee Risk Management and Identity Security Cloud.
Solution
Two new Non-Employee Risk Management MySailPoint home page widgets are now available to admin users.
One widget displays the number of pending activity requests. Admins can see the count of activity requests that have been pending for more than three days and the count of activity requests that have been pending for less than three days. When the admin clicks an insights button, they are redirected to the Pending tab on the Lifecycle > Activity > Requests page, allowing the admin to view details about the pending requests and determine if action is required.
The other widget displays the number of completed and failed activity requests. Admins can see the count of activity requests with a failed status and the count of activity requests with the completed status. When the admin clicks the Failed insights button, they are redirected to the Failed tab on the Lifecycle > Activity > Requests page, allowing the admin to view details about the requests and determine if action is required. When the admin clicks the Completed insights buttons, they are redirected to the Completed tab on the Lifecycle > Activity > Requests page.
The All tab on the Lifecycle > Activity > Requests page can be accessed from both widgets by clicking the View All link.
The Non-Employee Risk Management Pending Requests and Completed and Failed requests widgets are refreshed hourly.
