NERM macro activities?

Hi all! I never used NERM, and have a client which is asking about product. Can someone tell me the core activities product has, and how it integrates with ISC? I am reading documentation but perhaps a practical scope based in experience is better than pass to client all possibilities. Thanks for the help in advance.
