The documentation says not to enable ‘Disable optimization of unchanged accounts’ in the aggregation task because it may lead to unnecessary events being generated.
Can someone explain this? How does unnecessary events gets generated with that option set? Any useful information around this would be helpful
Disable optimization of unchanged accounts is a part of agregation’s optimization of SP. When this flag is unmarked, Sailpoint, during aggregation, dont “touch” the account that have not changed on aggregated system.
If you mark this flag, Sailpoint update every account.
With NCD, can cause the generation of many NCD events.
For example, during an daily aggrergation, more or less, you can have 1%-10% of account changed; with this flag unmarked only thos account are updated, istead of all.
