Hi Team,
I see an identity attribute “name” in the correlation config identity attribute drop-down.
Cannot find this “name” attribute on the identity
The API “{{baseUrl}}/identity-attributes” also does not respond with any id attribute “name”
I could not find any documentation/discussion around this topic. Please share the link if I missed anything.
Can someone please throw more light on this.
Thanks in advance

Hello,
Can you provide an screenshot what you are trying to set as name?
Regards, Pablo
I think it refers to the Account Name
or identificationNumber/alias in the attributes.

It’s an sailpoint displayName mostly the Account Name as @naresh_koorapati2 mentioned, which is set in account schema. This was the default correlation logic you can’t change this.

Disable Default Correlation Rule this topic may be helpful to explain the current position with the default correlation logic rule

Hi @naresh_koorapati2
Request you to please confirm this, because,
I have mapped “Person ID” to the Account Name in the account schema.
And for me, both “Person ID” and “Name” appear in the drop-down.
I heard from an IDN expert(who is not on this thread) that this “Name” is the Name that appears in the identity’s IdentityNow account. However, I am not sure why it is being used here, and any use cases around this concept would help me understand this deeply.
Clarification is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your attention
