Description

Identity Security Cloud only provides email notifications if a virtual appliance becomes inactive or active again. Via the REST API, it is possible to keep a closer eye on the status of the virtual appliances and, via a monitoring system, get other types of notifications, see the history, etc. As an example, we’ll use Zabbix, an open source monitoring system, to show how the REST API can be used to see the status of all virtual appliances and clusters.

Please confirm if we can implement zabbix for identity iiq .

Yes, that should be possible, too. The queries that you need to do will be very different and it may help to create a plugin in IdentityIQ to provide some dedicated endpoints.

Might be an interesting one for next year :smiley:
