ISC Error Trace ID

Hey does anyone know if there’s a way for us to track down tenant error message trace IDs?

I’m trying to setup an identity profile for a client and i’m just getting a generic “error occurred. contact your admin” message.

Hi Adam,
Even I am seen this error while setting up the Identity Profile and it turnout to be issue with the attribute I was mapping as it was not present in the source schema. After changing the mapping the error went away. Could you please check if you have updated the source schema and there is a reference of old attribute in the identity profile

Only SailPoint support has the ability to lookup the trace ID in the logs. You can try opening up the browser inspector and monitor any errors in the network tab. Sometimes the error message is more obvious in the network log than what is presented in the UI. If that doesn’t work, and you are unable to figure out why the error is occurring, you will need to open a support ticket.

Thanks Colin. I kind of figured that was the case but I thought I’d at least ask the question.

It ended up being a dirty IDP record in a secondary database so the root cause is likely something we couldn’t have resolved without support anyway.
