ISC Connector Reassignment

I am attempting to reassign a pending access request to the approver’s manager, but it is not triggering. I have configured all the necessary flags in the connector, and Pat has been granted all scopes, which should cover everything needed for reassignment. Here are the steps I followed:

  1. I requested access for the user, and the approval was sent to the manager.
  2. I then disabled the manager’s ISC Source Account.
  3. I checked the access request administration and found that the approval was still set for the original manager and had not been reassigned after disable

Am I missing how the reassignment is triggered via the connector or is there a delay? there doesnt seem to be thorough documentation on the reassignment options which should be considered.

Hi,

I don’t think reassign will work that way. Can you send the documentation which you are following.

There isnt any good documentation per se but here is the connector doc Reassignment Settings

I would assume from the connector docs that if you have pending approvals at the time of your ISC account is disabled those pending requests are forwarded to your manager or atleast that how the document frames it the functionality.

@jhayes9090 Is there any luck for triggering reassignment task for IDN governance connector? I am facing similar issue in our tenant.

I reached out to support about this and they were able to reproduce same issue. Engineering is being engaged to determine if this is a misconfig or bug

@jhayes9090, Thank you for your response. Please let me know if you receive any updates from them. Could you also provide the case number? I will then refer it to the SailPoint support team.
