There is a bug with the current release in which it fails the CORS policy on the browser. e.g. From the trace below you can see the referral from the Electron browser is https://localhost:3000, which will fail in the browser before it even hits the tenant endpoint. The redirect_uri param in the querystring is also incorrectly pulled from the referral, it probably needs to be built from the text field inputs on the first screen.

Looking into this, I am not able to reproduce this issue, the localhost redirect is actually correct and the CORS issue should not happen since it’s running within the electron app. Can you share the details of the CORS error?

I debugged this a bit further, the issue may be pebkac.

The CORS error was thrown because we had a vanity domain setup, so the subdomain.identitynow.com domain was no longer valid.

Once this was corrected the CORS error went away.

It might be worthwhile updating documentation for those who have vanity domains outside of the identitynow.com

This is what a working login looks like for those using vanity domains.
Tenant: tenant
Domain: identitynow (this should probably just be hidden to avoid confusion)
API Base URL: tenant.api.identitynow.com
Tenant URL: Your full vanity domain here e.g. https://nospoon.com

Once I’ve seen this working it is much nicer to use the existing user auth context instead of a PAT, as we reduce the risk of having a separate set of tokens to manage.

After login, I see normal IDN portal, not this admin console. Am I missing something here, tried with multiple tenants.

It is on our radar, but we don’t have a quick fix coming. The engineer who built this is heads down on other tasks at the moment.

I just build the package from GIT Repo. (GitHub - sailpoint-oss/isc-community-toolbox: A desktop application to administer and troubleshoot IdentityNow). When I try to login it throws this error. Is it known issue?

Has anyone gotten this to work with Entra as an IDP? I was able to install the app, and it appears to auth; I am getting the Entra login and being prompted for MFA. At that point it just goes back to the login screen.
