So, to reiterate, I have been tasked with understanding if these options are necessary for our Daily task, as there are problems with the time it takes for the task to run.
From my understanding, ( Refresh Identity Entitlements for all links) should be set to true, in order to keep the identity cache updated.
How do I know if the option (Always launch the workflow) is necessary?
The task runs with the following options:
- Refresh only identities marked as needing refresh during aggregation;
- Refresh manager status;
- Refresh identity attributes;
- Refresh assigned, detected roles and promote additional entitlements;
- Refresh role metadata for each identity;
- Synchronize attributes;
As well as the ones I have doubts about:
- Always launch the workflow (even if the usual triggers do not apply);
- Refresh Identity Entitlements for all links
I don’t really understand when do I need the Always launch the workflow option.
