Is there a method to test the Role Propagation Task with a limited set of users, population, or a specific workgroup? Whenever I run the task, the server utilization becomes very high, and upon completion, I receive errors such as “Unable to propagate the role change to 1 identity for the Role XYZ,” along with other errors shown in the attached screenshot.
It is a global setting. Therefore, when you make changes to the role, they will be propagated to all users.
Other way you can propagate the changes of a role to a certian set of identities is through the Refresh Task.
First, make the changes in the role, then refresh the user who has this role using the Refresh assigned and Detected Roles option selected. In this way, the changes will be added to only the identity where you performed the refresh.
