I try to invoke https://community.sailpoint.com/knowledge/IdentityIQ-Technical-White-Papers and get 404 error.How do I find the technical white paper for IIQ product?
Hello Yu Neng Yu. This looks like it may be related to the recent Community/Compass migration rather than the IIQ technical papers being removed. SailPoint mentioned that resources and navigation are still being migrated, so some older Compass links may return 404 for now.
I would try searching by the paper name or topic here:
I could not find the old Technical White Papers collection there yet, so some of those papers may still be part of the migration. For standard IdentityIQ documentation, you can also check SailPoint Documentation.
If a specific white paper is still missing or returning 404, SailPoint is asking users to report broken links to compass-help@sailpoint.com during the beta.

Yes, I would email them and ask them to help locate the old paper or provide the new link.
Include the paper title and old Compass URL, if you have them. Since the migration is still in progress, they should be able to confirm the new location or whether it is still being migrated.

This is a known, community-wide issue — not something on your end. SailPoint retired their old “Compass” community platform and moved to a new community experience, and a lot of the legacy URLs (including that /knowledge/IdentityIQ-Technical-White-Papers link) are giving 404 because the old pages weren’t carried over one-for-one.
Here’s how to get to the white papers now:
- Start from the new Knowledge Base landing page: community.sailpoint.com/knowledge. It’s organized into collections rather than the old flat page, so look under “On-premises solutions” — that collection covers IdentityIQ installation, implementation, and maintenance content.
- If you can’t find a specific paper by browsing, use the search box on that page rather than guessing at old URLs — the content has mostly been re-filed, not deleted.
- If a specific paper you need still isn’t there after checking the Knowledge Base, the recommended path (per that thread) is to email compass-help@sailpoint.com with the paper’s title and the old URL — they’re tracking broken links during this migration beta and can usually point you to the new location or restore it.

Please try logging in to SailPoint Community using your corporate/work email address instead of your personal email, as this article requires additional access permissions.
I can access and view the article using my corporate account.
I alse use work email to login but I don’t have access to browse the artical.I’ll discuss this further with my manager.
