So you want to present a livestream, huh? Let’s do it!
Guidelines
- Community livestreams are typically no more than 60 minutes. The ideal length is about 45 minutes, as this gives some buffer time for questions during/after. That being said, we value quality over hitting a specific timeframe. If your presentation is super interesting but is longer than 60 minutes, submit it but please let us know!
- Please search Video Library to ensure the topic has not been covered within the last year or two. Similar but different is welcome, so please submit it as long as it’s not identical.
- We ask that you pick a topic that you are passionate about and can present with some pizzazz. We want this to be fun for the viewers and you! This is an opportunity to be yourself and let the community see who is behind that username!
Process
- Send a message to our Content Admin team with the topic and a 4-5 sentence description of your presentation.
- The team will respond to let you know the status of your proposal as well as an estimate for the next available date.
- The team will contact you two weeks before your presentation to check in and ensure that you’re ready!

Presenting a livestream will grant you a cool 600 points in our Ambassador program. That’s enough to instantly grant you Ambassador status!
Why stream live?
With a livestream, you can interact with the audience, who can interact and ask questions! We know that livestreams require a different skillset than pre-recording a video, but they are the perfect practice for larger events, like our Developer Days event! If a livestream is too daunting, start with a recorded video blog! Both will be stored on the forum for users to watch later.
