Exchange Online Management

Microsoft Entra can be used to manage Exchange online mailboxes, distribution lists, and mail-enabled security groups. The Microsoft Entra SaaS connector uses Exchange Online PowerShell Module to support this feature.

Just some feedback on the Certificate Based Authentication documentation for the Entra SaaS connector. We experienced issues during setup and discovered that our randomly generated password from CyberArk contained a character that the connector didn’t accept. If possible, could you please update the documentation to include more information on valid characters that can be used?

edit: just for clarification purposes the error we were getting for this was…

We have detected an error from the managed system.
Error Received:
[Microsoft-Entra]: [ConnectorError] Failed to Connect to Exchange Online: Please validate Authentication Data before continuing with the operation

For shared mailboxes it is mentioned that one of the properties that should be set is ‘Managed’. However, this does not seem to be a property that we have access to.
At least it is not visible in UI nor in API as far as I have found.
